01

The challenge

The Saudi ordering and delivery platform had exposed servers, unrotated passwords, incomplete account protections, and unshielded content delivery—risks that could disrupt service during the busiest ordering periods.

02

What CloudVests delivered

CloudVests moved workloads into private protected networks, enforced multi-factor authentication and automated password rotation, and introduced a fault-tolerant content-delivery layer protected by a web application firewall.

Application tiers were moved into private Amazon VPC subnets and exposed only through managed load-balancing and edge controls. IAM Identity Center and Secrets Manager replaced fragmented administrator access and static application credentials with governed identities and rotation.

CloudFront and AWS WAF absorbed public traffic at the edge, applying managed protections before requests reached the origin. CloudWatch monitoring tracked availability, request behavior, and infrastructure health through peak ordering windows.

03

The outcome

The platform entered peak periods with a materially stronger identity, network, and edge-security posture while preserving customer access and checkout availability.

The sprint established layered controls across identity, network, secrets, edge delivery, and monitoring, eliminating reliance on a single perimeter control to protect the ordering platform.
