01

The challenge

Markabte connects field inspectors, control centers, and buyers. Unmanaged servers, a single database without adequate recovery, and heavy photo, video, and audio uploads created bottlenecks and operational risk.

02

What CloudVests delivered

CloudVests routed inspection media directly to scalable storage, moved the database to a managed multi-zone service with point-in-time recovery, and hardened the real-time connections used by field teams.

Field devices uploaded inspection media directly to Amazon S3 using time-limited application authorization, removing the web tier from large-file transfer. CloudFront improved distributed retrieval for reviewers without making the underlying objects public.

Amazon RDS Multi-AZ replaced the unmanaged database, with point-in-time recovery and AWS Backup policies protecting inspection records. CloudWatch monitored database, upload, and real-time application health.

03

The outcome

The modernized platform reduced media bottlenecks, protected inspection records, and gave field and review teams a more reliable real-time workflow.

The redesign isolated media transfer from transactional processing, preventing large uploads from competing with the database and real-time coordination paths used during inspections.
