Digital Clinic & Home Care · Success story
Protecting patient data while scaling a home-care platform
A private, encrypted AWS architecture improved booking availability, strengthened healthcare-data controls, and reduced ongoing cloud cost.
Selected AWS services
Core services in the architecture.
A focused view of the AWS services most representative of this engagement. The complete technical scope is described below.
- 01Amazon VPC
- 02Amazon RDS
- 03AWS Key Management Service
- 04AWS WAF
- 05Amazon CloudWatch
- 06AWS Cost Explorer
The challenge
Rofan-Care was growing while handling sensitive patient records. The platform required stronger availability and confidentiality without allowing operating cost to grow at the same rate as demand.
What CloudVests delivered
CloudVests re-architected the platform around private encrypted data services, secure front-end access, and continuous monitoring of security posture and cloud spend.
Patient-facing and data services were separated across private VPC tiers, with Amazon RDS running in a managed, highly available configuration. KMS encryption protected persistent records, and AWS WAF filtered public application traffic before it reached the workload.
CloudWatch supplied operational and security telemetry, while Cost Explorer supported ongoing rightsizing reviews as booking demand changed.
The outcome
Rofan-Care gained a more resilient and auditable healthcare platform with patient records isolated from public access and infrastructure sized to demand.
The architecture tied confidentiality controls to operational ownership: access, encryption, availability, and cost could be reviewed as part of one managed platform baseline.
