The challenge

During daily flash sales, WashyWash experienced database locking and application slowdowns that disrupted orders and driver dispatch at the busiest moments.

What CloudVests delivered

CloudVests re-platformed the backend to scale automatically, introduced in-memory caching for real-time inventory and booking, and accelerated content delivery at the edge.

Amazon ECS allowed order and dispatch services to scale independently, while ElastiCache removed repeated inventory and session reads from the database path. Amazon Aurora provided managed high availability and reduced the locking pressure of the previous data layer.

CloudFront handled cacheable content at the edge, and CloudWatch metrics drove scaling and exposed saturation before it reached checkout or driver-dispatch workflows.
